EH & S Manager Position

The Role

Located at our Acacia Ridge Head office, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Environment, Health and Safety Manager to provide key support and assistance in the implementation, continuous improvement and monitoring of health and safety systems and programs across our national organisation

Key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying, creating and maintaining health and safety training needs at all levels.
• Implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety systems, programs, policies and initiatives ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Implementation and coordination of the incident and hazard management procedures.
• Facilitating health and safety communication between field, management and legislative authorities.
• Developing and maintaining a safety culture within the business.
• Building upon the health and safety capabilities of management and staff
• Liaison with relevant teams to evaluate and recommend external training initiatives.

The Person

The successful applicant will be tertiary qualified in Health and Safety or a related discipline. The have a strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation; superior communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships as well as a proven track record of implementing and supporting health and safety change management.
